I am originally from Redlands, California, and I’m a first-generation college student with a background in nutrition, which first sparked my interest in whole-person care. I chose nursing because I’m passionate about helping people feel heard, supported, and cared for during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. That passion became more personal through my own experiences navigating the healthcare system, where I saw how easily women’s symptoms and concerns were overlooked and dismissed. When my own health issues were addressed with default treatments instead of deeper evaluation, it shaped my commitment to becoming a nurse who listens, asks questions, and advocates for more thorough, individualized care.

Through my experiences in healthcare and nursing school, I’ve developed a strong foundation in both clinical skill and patient interaction. My background in the emergency department and clinical training in obstetrics have taught me how to stay calm in high-pressure situations, think critically, and respond to changes in patient condition with confidence while working as part of a team.

I hope to contribute to improving the way women are listened to and treated within the healthcare system. My goal as a nurse is to provide thoughtful, patient-centered care while continuing to grow as a clinician and advocate for my patients.

Outside of nursing, I enjoy lifting weights, playing chess, playing guitar, and songwriting.

Hi, I’m Jordan.
